Note: This is a recorded video presentation and does not qualify as a live interactive course.
Course Highlights

This online engineering PDH video presentation discusses the fundamentals of diesel engines and describes the common engine terminologies, the major components and the operational principles of diesel engines.

Most industrial facilities require some type of prime mover to supply mechanical power for pumping, electrical power generation, or operation of heavy equipment. Although several types of prime movers are available (such as gasoline engines, steam and gas turbines), the diesel engine is the most commonly used.

The reciprocating piston engine is the most influential machine ever invented by mankind. From its early beginnings as a steam engine, the piston engine has revolutionized the way we live, work and travel. This course will teach you about this truly amazing machine.

This 5 PDH online video presentation is intended for mechanical and automotive engineers, as well as professionals of different backgrounds who are interested in learning more about the fundamentals, the common components, and the theory of operation of diesel engines.
