Continuing Education and Development, Inc. (aka understands your concerns regarding how your personal information is obtained and shared. Therefore, we have established this Privacy Policy to protect your privacy and the confidentiality of your personal information when administering our online continuing education program.

Required Personal Information

You will be required to register (for the first time) when you decide to purchase a course. In this case, you will be prompted to provide certain personal information including, but not limited to, your name, address, telephone, email, state(s) of registration, license expiration dates and payment information.

Processing Personal Information

CED will use this information internally:

  • To generate and submit your "Certificate of Completion” online each time you pass a course quiz.
  • To notify you periodically of new course releases, continuing education updates or special promotions (optional).

CED will share your personal information with select third parties for the fulfillment of the following services:

  • To process your payment with PayPal, our secure payment processing affiliate.
  • To provide your State Licensing Board with pertinent information, if required.

Security of Credit Card Information

CED uses PayPal to process your online credit card payment. PayPal uses the industry-standard Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology to encrypt the information you provide us when you subscribe online.  PayPal receives this information as a scrambled code, and then decrypts it on their secure servers. Therefore, your credit card information cannot be read in transit as it is secure with PayPal.
