Course Highlights

This online engineering PDH course presents an overview of one of the most important Project Management processes: Risk Management. It supports two other major processes: Project Estimating, and Scheduling, in their mission of creating a sufficient budget and a workable schedule, which are the cornerstones of any successful project.

There are many Project Management processes and tasks engineers are involved in, but one of the most important is Risk Management. As part of their involvement in Risk Management, engineers are playing a major role in identifying and analyzing project risks, which makes their education in this area extremely important. While engineers should not be Project Management experts, they need to know basic principles, processes and tools in order to become a valuable member of a project team and contribute into a project success. This course is designed to arm engineers with that kind of basic knowledge in Risk Management.

This course will cover how to identify project risks, analyze them and select appropriate response strategies, and evaluate which tools may be used to make your Risk Management more efficient.
