Oklahoma State Requirements
Professional Engineers
The state requirements for Oklahoma Professional Engineers are provided below:
Renewal Period:
Biennial by the last day of the month of the licensee's original date of licensure
Course Pre-approval:
The State Board does not pre-approve continuing education courses. You must select a course activity that meets your State Board criteria.
Sponsor Pre-approval:
The State Board does not pre-approve continuing education sponsors/providers.
Course Applicability:
The course must have a clear purpose and objective which will maintain, improve or expand the skills and knowledge of the licensee relevant to the practice of engineering and necessary to safeguard the health, safety, property and welfare of the public.
Online PDH's:
There are no limitations on the number of PDHs earned online.
PDH Deferral:
A maximum of 15 PDHs may be carried over into the next renewal period.
Professional Land Surveyors
The state requirements for Oklahoma Professional Land Surveyors are provided below:

Of the 30 PDHs required:
- A minimum of 2 PDHs must be earned in the OK Minimum Standards for the Practice of Land Surveying.
Online PDH's:
There are no limitations on the number of PDHs earned online.
PDH Deferral:
A maximum of 15 PDHs may be carried over into the next renewal period.
