Mississippi State Requirements

PDH's Required:

15 Units every calendar year

Renewal Period:

By December 31 of the licensee’s biennial renewal period

Course Pre-approval:

The State Board does not pre-approve courses. You must select a course activity that meets your State Board criteria.

Sponsor Pre-approval:

The State Board does not pre-approve continuing education sponsors.

Course Applicability:

At least 1 PDH must be obtained in ethics training every biennial renewal period. The remaining PDHs must be relevant to the profession of engineering and may include technical, ethical or managerial content.

Online PDH's:

There are no limitations on the number of PDH's earned online.

PDH Deferral:

Up to 15 PDH may be carried over into the next renewal period. Excess ethics PDHs may not be carried forward.
