Webinar Title: Update of a Spill Control & Countermeasure (SPCC) Plan for Onshore Facilities
Webinar No: C01-204W
PDH Credit: 1
Presenter: Rodney Aldrich, P.E.
Time: From 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM ET
This online engineering PDH live webinar presents the necessary steps in updating a Spill Control and Countermeasure (SPCC) Plan for Onshore Facilities.
In 1973, the United States Environmental Protection Agency issued regulations requiring certain facilities to write and follow Spill Prevention, Control, and Countermeasure (SPCC) Plans to prevent, prepare, and respond to oil discharges that may reach navigable waters of the United States or adjoining shorelines.
This live webinar starts by discussing the requirements to ensure if an SPCC Plan is required. Moreover, it illustrates how operators can adopt SPCC plan templates and defines which parts require an Engineer’s certification. Furthermore, this presentation highlights the option of preparing portions of an SPCC plan beyond those required by the regulations. Also, this webinar provides an overview of the major items to look for during a field inspection, as well as explains the integrity inspection requirements and spill history. Finally, this presentation describes the follow up steps to an SPCC Plan revision.
This 1 PDH online live webinar is applicable to chemical, environmental and civil engineers, as well as other technical personnel involved in petroleum storage and spill prevention.
This live webinar is intended to provide you with the following specific knowledge and skills:
