Course Highlights

This online engineering PDH course provides an overview on America’s great leaders who had major influence on America’s greatest achievements.

This series of publications provide information about America’s leaders who have impacted American culture and changed the engineering boundaries under which we live. These leaders were chosen from the following five major categories:

  • Business Leaders: This first category is meant to distinguish those individuals who have developed a business model, a method or service rather than a product, which has impacted the majority population of the United States in a large way.
  • Engineering Leaders: The second category is meant to celebrate those individuals who have provided an engineering service which has benefited Americans, and possibly all of mankind, without necessarily deriving a direct financial benefit.
  • Entrepreneurs: This third category is meant to define those individuals who have invented and developed a product which has impacted the United States as well as the rest of the world in some way.
  • Industry Leaders: This category involves individuals who took an idea or an invention and developed a product that is now manufactured throughout the civilized world, and which has great impact on the everyday lives of all Americans.
  • Sports Leaders: This category is meant to distinguish an individual who has developed a leadership role in a particular field of athletics.

In this volume, four of the five leaders happen to describe graduate engineers, or those who worked as engineers, all of whom made significant contributions to the technological advancements of America. Later publications might include inventors or investors as well as engineers.

This 3 PDH online course is applicable to all engineers who are interested in gaining more information about America’s leaders who had great impact on our lives.
