Nadia Geesman
Nadia Geesman, PE, PTOE, QSP, is a civil and traffic engineer with more than 18 years of experience. She is licensed as a Professional Engineer in seven states and the District of Columbia. She serves cities, counties and state agencies on transportation and municipal projects, from planning and design through construction.
Her work spans roadway and intersection design, complete streets, pavement rehabilitation, ADA curb ramps and pedestrian access routes, and signal, signing and striping design. She leads traffic operations and safety studies using Synchro and Vissim. She prepares plans, specifications and estimates (PS&E), designs work zone traffic control, reviews plans for municipalities and supports projects through construction. As a Qualified SWPPP Practitioner (QSP), she also manages stormwater compliance. She has supported Safe Routes to School programs, Local Road Safety Plans and grant applications.
Nadia is the founder, Principal Engineer and President of Bosan Engineering Enterprise P.C. in Aptos, California. She develops continuing education courses through BEE Informed Pro LLC. Before founding BEE, she managed a traffic engineering team at WSP and served as a consultant engineer at Interwest to several California cities. Earlier in her career, she was a traffic engineer at AECOM and a transportation engineer at Green International Affiliates. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University and a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Lowell, where she also completed doctoral coursework in transportation engineering.
