This course introduces basic fire protection issues related to the safeguarding of life and property. It describes the fundamental principles of fire science and the dynamics of fire growth in buildings, and how an understanding of these is necessary to implement viable fire protection measures.
 Assessing Your Reliability Programs, 2 PDH
This course provides an introduction to the steps needed to evaluate the effectiveness of reliability programs. It presents the various levels at which an accurate assessment should be made. It also explains the issues that are important to providing reliable assets and how to evaluate those issues.
Design of Buildings against Natural Hazards, 1 PDH
This course is intended to familiarize the engineer with an integrated approach for multihazard design. In this course, the design methods used to resist the effects of each natural hazard are discussed in the context of the design methods for the other natural hazards.
