Dear [fname] [lname]

CEDengineering.com is pleased to present the latest online PDH course releases:

Lubricants and Hydraulic Fluids (5 PDH)

hydraulic fluids
This course describes basic characteristic properties of industrial oils, hydraulic fluids, greases, environmentally acceptable lubricants, solid lubricants, and their additives.

It examines the mechanics of hydrodynamic, boundary, extreme pressure, and elastrohydrodynamic lubrication to protect against deterioration.

*****

Lubrication of Gears and Bearings (2 PDH)

gear and bearing with lubricant
This course describes the proper lubrication of gears and bearings.

When selecting a lubricant for any gear or bearing application, engineers must consider the type and material, operating conditions, type of steady load, temperature, method of application, type of service, and the environment.

In the next issue of CED Monthly, watch for our new course releases in the areas of Coating Applications.
