As the youngest continuing education provider for engineers all over the world, CEDengineering.com was created with the vision to share with engineering colleagues, technical industries, and professional societies new engineering ideas and advanced technological concepts for the benefit of all fellow engineers. Our primary goal is to reinforce the need for lifelong learning in order to stay current with changing technology and established standards.

To provide professional online continuing education to Licensed Professional Engineers to enhance their engineering knowledge and competence as well as to assist them in fulfilling the Continuing Professional Competency (CPC) requirements required by their respective State Licensing Boards.

CEDengineering.com is the official website for Continuing Education & Development, Inc. which was incorporated on June 26, 2006 in the State of New York. The company is an approved sponsor of continuing education by the State Licensing Boards of Florida, Louisiana, New York and North Carolina.

CEDengineering.com is supported by highly qualified course providers, who are also Licensed Professional Engineers or professionals with advanced degrees. Two of these professionals, including Omar Alsamman, Ph.D., P.E. and Jerry Vorbach, P.E., serve on the Course Evaluation Committee to ensure that the course content is in accordance with sound engineering principles prior to getting published. CEDengineering.com is also supported by Alan Fata, an Information Technology Expert and Financial Advisor, who assists in maintaining the CEDengineering.com website, as well as advising on financial matters.

Developed and maintained by professional engineers and information technology experts, CEDengineering.com is a fully automated user-friendly learning center. It was designed with the flexibility to provide the engineering professionals with online continuing education courses from the comfort of their living quarters, work places, or wherever they are worldwide. Our server is programmed to conduct and grade quizzes, issue “Certificates of Completion”, send automated notifications, maintain databases, and keep records of PDH activities at all times.

CEDengineering.com courses are specialized in the field of engineering and cover a broad range of engineering subjects to accommodate engineers with various technical backgrounds. They are designed with a “clear purpose and objective to maintain, improve, or expand the skills and knowledge relevant to the licensee's field of practice”. Our courses comply with the NCEES CPC Guidelines and are considered to be accepted courses by all State Licensing Boards requiring continuing education. Our courses are also supplemented with a professional quiz process intended to evaluate the engineer’s effort to strengthen and maintain competency in the technical, managerial, or ethical fields.
