FAQ - TAKING AN ONLINE COURSE
  1. What’s the procedure for taking an online course through CEDengineering.com?

    To take an online course, please do the following:

    • click on browse courses to view the courses

    • select, print and review the appropriate course at your convenience free of charge

    • click on “Take the Quiz” at the bottom of the “Course Outline”. This will prompt you to set up an account and select a payment method in order to take the quiz

    • upon successfully completing the quiz, print your “Certificate of Completion” and save it for your records

  2. What is the format of the quiz?

    The quiz consists of multiple-choice questions or a combination of multiple-choice and True/False type questions. Depending on the length of the course, the minimum number of questions required would be as follows:

    • 1 to 2 Unit-Hour Course          10 Questions

    • 3 Unit Hour Course                 15 Questions

    • 4+ Unit Hour Course               20 Questions + 5 more for every Unit Hour

  3. Is there a time limit for the course and the quiz?

    No. You may take as much time as you need to review the course and complete the quiz.

  4. What happens if I don’t achieve the passing grade of 70%?

    If you don’t complete the quiz on the first attempt, you may retake it as many times as necessary in order to pass, at no additional charge.

  5. How do I retake the quiz at a later date?

    If you decide to return later and retake the quiz, click on my account then go to the “Certificate” column and click on “Retake Quiz” associated with the appropriate course.
